Pre-Paid Phones Banned in J&K

Citing security concerns, the Union home ministry has banned prepaid mobile phone services in Jammu and Kashmir. It is said, from 1st November 2009 no pre-paid mobile connections should be issued and the existing pre-paid SIM card sould not be renewed. (read more this article)
